PAS 2030

PAS 2030 is a British Standards Institute (BSI) standard that sets out the requirements for installing, commissioning, and handing over Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) in domestic retrofit projects. It ensures compliance with government baked schemes like ECO and Green Deal. It covers installation processes, process management, and service provision, demonstrating a commitment to quality, compliance and sustainability.

How do I achieve PAS 2030 Accreditation?

Installers must demonstrate that they have the necessary technical competence, management processes, quality control, and ongoing support to ensure that the systems continue to operate as intended after installation.

You need to register with an official Green Deal certification body to complete PAS 2030, but don’t worry we can do this for you. Initially we will work with you to complete a Gap Analysis document to see what you currently have in place and plan for what documentation we will need to create for you. We will need some basic information on the tasks your company undertakes and copies of some evidence such as fire records, staff training certificates.

Next, we will get to work and write your PAS 2030 compliant management system. Once the documentation is completed it will be submitting to the awarding body. A remote desktop audit will be carried out by the external assessor within 28 days, and we will also attend this to support you.

The final stage after the remote desktop has been passed is the external audit. The External Assessor will attend a live install for each measure applied for. Then certification can be confirmed – that’s it you have your PAS 2030 Accreditation.

We can also support with scope extension – adding additional measures to your accreditation and the annual surveillance.
